About Linda Dawson

Linda Dawson has over ten years experience as an engineer in industry, having worked as an Aeronautical Flight Controller on the Space Shuttle Program at NASA in Houston and then as a Navigation and Guidance Engineer for the Boeing Space Center in Kent, Washington. She eventually left engineering to start a new career in teaching.

Senior Lecturer Emeritus, UW Tacoma

Linda taught and developed curriculum for mathematics, engineering and computer related courses at several colleges in the Puget Sound area including the University of Washington Seattle and the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. After teaching for over 20 years at the University of Washington Tacoma, Linda was granted Senior Lecturer Emeritus status upon her retirement in 2017.
